4 kids and only 1 me
What to do when you’re out numbered 4 to 1?? Sugar cookies! SO fun! It’s like edible playdoh for kids and because their hands have been all over the dough it’s not at all tempting to eat!

Finished product! Too fun!
A day at the fair
Bought Q a wristband but he wouldn’t go on any rides…both kiddos had fun though! Gotta love summertime!
Minivan or SUV?
Paying of the Honda today!! WOOT WOOT! And against Jason’s wishes I’m pondering the idea of getting a new car…well, I’m actually thinking about maybe an suv (highlander or pilot) or a minivan…hmmm… Any thoughts? Also thinking about the color…what’s hot right now? Most of my friends who read this (all 5 of you
are about my age and have kids so I’m thinking we would be in the same “buyers group” What would be your ideal vehicle??
Did you really just say that????
Nolan has been saying the most hillarious things today, and in light of the absolute chaos in the house I was happy to have a few one liners to laugh about! These are the two conversations that truly brightened up my night!
Me: “Nolan, who do you like better Santa or the Easter Bunny?”1
Nolan: “San…East…ummmm…the Red Robin bird!”
Me: ??????
Nolan: “Mom, why do you take all the fuzz off your legs?”
Me: Well girls don’t usually have hair on their legs. Sometimes girls who are kind of hippy do and mommy’s not really a hippy…maybe a little bit hippy but not enough to still have hair on my legs.”
Nolan: (Looking extremely confused) No, you’re not hippity! You don’t hippity hop like an Easter bunny!”
And then he gave me a, duh mom, look that was too die for!
Haha! Got to love those little moments!

I have been searching the web for some fun and different recipes and alternative ingredients to make more traditional dishes with a twist. These are some that I found today that perked my interest and thought I’d post them so that I can reference them easily and share them

Sick days, and indecision…
After starting my blog on blogspot I think I’ve decided to switch over to WordPress. I spent awhile trying to create a post of the boys latest sports activities but putting the pics up was a bitch…this site seems easier?? I’m sure I was just doing something wrong but never the less, I’m switching.
Wed morning was one of the worst mornings ever…and I can’t even claim that I was out drinking on Tuesday
I woke up SUPER dizzy and puking (lovely image, I’m sure). Needless to say, I haven’t felt like the best mom because I couldn’t get up off the couch and Jason worked all day and had school all night. The kids definately got the shaft. Today I am feeling quite a bit better but still not 100%. Feeling guilty about the lack of fun things we’ve done in the last two days we came up with a fun, moms-sick-friendly activity…We made our own puzzles! It was awesome. The kids were occupied for quite awhile and I still felt like I had given them something fun to do…

Coloring their pictures

Ta-da! Better than a Van Gogh

I was a little smarter with Q's. Bigger peices and numbers on the back make it way easier to put together

One of our puzzles! I swear, this was the most fun thing they got to do all day
And that is what we’ve been up too the past two days…way too exciting, I know.
Now that I’ve come up with a URL…
Agh! Here I am…never thought I’d do the whole online blogging thing but…after reading over some friend’s blogs I started thinking about how cool it would be to have a record of the random daily occurances that I would normally forget about before the end of the week.
I had a hard time deciding on the URL but was sitting here at midnight watching tv and randomly (pun intended
randomhawsities jumped into my head. I thought it was completely perfect, which might just be because it’s late and I’m feeling loopy so I jumped the gun. Being totally honest here, I had an overwhelming sense of needing to “claim” the url before someone else did (because I’m sure millions of others want my last name mixed with the word randomocity)! Anyways — Haha! The address might not stick, but for now at least it’s getting me started.
I’m super excited about this blog because I have been wanting to start one for awhile but didn’t want to put it on myspace because it’s not personal enough. I guess I’m only comfortable with people closest to me or complete strangers reading my personal thoughts…there are too many acquaintances on myspace…
Blah…Over.
